Pyrography of Nature

Pyrography of Nature
Beginning with Patience
When I begin a piece that has a great deal of detail involved, I take my time and make sure every shadow is properly placed. Not only paying close attention to lighting, but a steady concentrated hand is necessary to create the perfect texture you want, wether it's bear fur or tree branches; pressure, speed, and direction of stroke are all factors needed to know in order to accomplish the task.
Details in the Details
It makes the biggest difference to make sure every mark is exactly how you want it.
Finishing Touches

After twenty four hours spent working every detail, and three coats of polyurethane.. the final piece is complete. I like to put enough detail that the viewer can take time to really admire all the small aspects of the art as well as enjoy it as whole. Aesthetically pleasing and just enough rustic feel to bring a more natural feel to the basic hanging wall art.
