These illustrations were created for the National Calendar Awards, as I created a tear away colouring calendar in support of mental illness. The idea behind the calendar is that each illustration was cut down into individual squares, representing the days of the month. Each day the user would tear off the day and colour what was on the back, meaning by the end of the month you would have a fully coloured beautiful illustration you could be proud of. This repetitive act for someone with mental illness creates an easily achievable goal each day, taking life one step at a time.
