Heroes & Villains of Connectedness Installation
Heroes and Villains focuses on you and your personal mindset that promotes or deters you from making connections with others. The project manifested from the alarming amount of meaningless interactions that were invading my time. I was not satisfied with the way my peers and strangers were engaging with myself and others. Our phones, our need for personal space in public, our addiction to instant gratification, and our mindsets were a few of the villains I experienced that were at the center of the disconnect. Villains of connectedness are man made and you must be your own hero to seek growth with others. This installation’s aim is to bring awareness of how we connect with one another based on the distractions that we enable every day.
