Watercolor Rendering Project

This watercolor project focused on architectural rendering. We were given a sample packet of various styles of watercolor rendering. This assignment was to first replicate the sample as closely as possible in both color and sketching technique. Next, we were suppose to use this same style to watercolor render a building in Waco.
This is a watercolor rendering of Baylor University's McLane Stadium using the same style as the recreation of the sample. I based this rendering around a photo I took after The Gathering in Waco, Texas. The styles between both images are suppose to be clearly related through technique and color palette.
This is the sample watercolor rendering I chose to recreate. These colors and sketching style appeal to me because they clearly illustrate depth.

This is the photo I used for inspiration for my second watercolor rendering. The color palette is similar to the sample.
