This series of drawings was started as a way to practice my drawing skills in Adobe Illustrator, and keep myself sharp. The images are inspired by the Tiki sculptures of the south Pacific, and 50's/60's pop culture. The goal was to create images that were symmetrical, but didn't necessarily seem that way at first glance. They got more complex the more I drew, but they were always meant to be fairly simple designs.
