The brief was to design pages for a publication, which are inspired by the subject matter in terms of format, grids, layout and typography. No images were allowed. My topic and article for this project was about brutalist architecture. The design comprises of three main elements; large scale not only with the page size but also with the text and harsh silhouettes, creating texture using multiple weights of Helvetica and also creating the sense of blocks by manually justifying text and integrating page numbers next to the body copy.
