Siam Luxury Chocolate is inspired by Bangkok, Thailand. This is evident in the name, color palette, shape, patterns and more.

Siam is the former name of Thailand and the body of water. When researching Bangkok, I found out a lot of about the Buddhist culture and it had the greatest impact on my concept and design. Things that stuck out at me that later reflected my project: 400+ temples in Thailand, the symbolic importance of the lotus, gold buddha, etc. Gold especially is a repeated element in almost every aspect of their culture (Buddhism, temples, headdress, nightlife, etc.) I also wanted to incorporate a flower like opening to the box shape. The 6 sided diamond box opens up similar to a lotus. The patterns I used are inspired by the textiles and fabric of the Thai culture. The blue, maroon, orange and gold colors really speak to the Thai culture.
