In late 2004, early 2005, I prepared a 8.5 x 11-inch ad for esp@anish.net to target law firms. Inspired by one particular lawfirm (Carl Selesky's) that uses a Spanish version in its website, I attempted to goad and persuade other law firms to take the same route. I went for a minimalist approach.

As you can see, the dominant graph is a screen capture of a website's homepage laid out in the upper left corner of a landscape page. Next, I surrounded that graphic with an L-shaped layout and a teaser paragraph:

Carl Selesky practices law in Texas and offers essential information to his Latino clients and visitors.

Perhaps my minimalist approach in the tagline “Reach Out. Translate. Sell.” didn't go down as expected and it was probably too cryptic. The recipients probably interpreted it in different directions and that's why I didn't receive any responses.
