This project seeks to give Chicago’s Stockyard institute a permanent home in their original community, and utilizes the currently abandoned Sante Fe Grain elevator as a base structure. Approached as an experiment in the sculpting and resulting logic of space, a voronoi diagram was generated computationally using random points and a platform system was constructed within those constraints. The exterior of the building was dictated solely by the organization of the space within.
