Matters

Matters

Challenge
To collect and curate something that 'matters' to you.

Insight
To convey a strong social cause by striking an emotional cord with the audience.

Solution
An open air recital to spread the effect of war on children and the dire need for education at refugee camps.

“Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are.
Up in dark, grey, smoky sky, like an explosion caught my eye.”

The project demanded us to refrain from using any digital interface. My friend and I worked on open air recital to draw the attention of the audience. We made placards out of sticks and cardboard and used crayons to scribble nursery rhymes with. The objective of the recital was to bring to limelight the scarring effect on the mental health of children at refugee camps.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
Men with masks were out for fun, shot poor Humpty with a gun.
Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb, Mary had a little lamb who was sick from scars and stones.
Everywhere that Mary went, Mary went, Mary went, everywhere that Mary went, the lamb could no longer go.

Baa baa black sheep have you any bread, yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.
One for my mother and one for my friend, one for my little brother who needs some strength.
