The purpose of this project was to explore After Effects via the creation of a kinetic typography clip—an animation technique mixing both motion and text through video animation. It required that I incorporate a TV show or song, so I chose CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother,” and a song that an infamous character, Barney Stinson sang in the show. If viewers know anything about Stinson, it’s that he has a thing for suits, hence my joyous illustration of his obsession. View this on youtube.
