PROBLEM: There are the amount of alarm & reminder app to download at the day. Most of their prototypes are awesome but the way they approach is still in a general way. Personally, it would be better if we can specify users by design, to let them download & enjoy using.
APPROACH: I picked two kinds of people to be the initial target users, coffee addict, and music lover. I interviewed a dozen of acquaintances as well as random people in coffee shops and bars. Some downloaded alarm and reminder apps but no usage. I explored the most similar systems design. Also created the simple user flow with minimal design. I simplified the usability testing by letting people test with my interactive prototypes.
OUTCOME: Prototypes satisfied them with process demonstration. They prefer non-complex and quick process. No registration or login to play. Moreover, I designed more details of interactive screens that illustrated from inception through production.
