 TenMarks - Amplifiers
Real-time Student Support: Automatically Assigned Targeted Interventions
As an illustrated remedial Math Product, TenMarks Amplifiers is a series of animated slides with questions for students to review and understand math concepts in bite-sized formats.

The creation of these 400+ Amplifiers of K-12 Math Curriculum was a collaborated team effort of 16 members of the Content Team comprising of Curriculum Developers, Designers, Editors and the QA team.
HIGH SCHOOL AMPLIFIERS: The content team came up with the idea to revise Math content for High School Curriculum based on the feedback provided from schools. The students preferred shorter animations between slides for a quicker navigation and understanding of math concepts. A concept of a Cheat Sheet that would aid the student to answer the question was also introduced. A second attempt to answer the question was initiated to encourage and improve student knowledge of the concept.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS: As the lead designer for this product, I was in charge of coming up with the graphic style guide
for Amplifiers that catered to students learning math concepts like Geometry and Algebra. I was challenged to design a comprehensive style guide with the color palette used in the UI for the inside of the product to create a seamless integration and a better user experience. I created a new file naming format easy enough for the internal team to follow, and trained the QA team with best practices to save the files reviewed. I drove monthly demos for Content Team to have basic knowledge in Adobe Illustrator.
FIRST GRADE AMPLIFIERS: As a collaborative team, we designers created 60+ Amplifiers that related to an audience group
of 5-6 year olds. One of the fellow designer, created the 1st Grade character, Momo as a mascot to interact with the students.
I laid out fun, delightful and visually engaging cover designs and consecutive slides for students based on the math concepts, theme of the Amplifier and style guidelines.
KEY CONTRIBUTION: Unlike the High School Amplifiers, these had to cater to kindergarteners who were entering 1st grade. The slides had to be super simple and easy to understand. The Curriculum Developers had done their part with keeping the content succinct. I initiated my team to follow a similar mantra of "Less is More" for the design elements and layout used on the page as well. I eliminated any additional frills and kept the design animation to a minimum.
