The playful chess set
Our goal was to get more people to play chess by lowering the factor of seriousness, and instead make them more attractive for the common you and me.

In the process we've weighted the characters roles in the game, with simple means and clear colors to create a decorative whole.

The humor is not only in the simple and trivial forms, but also in the different personalities we've given each piece.

Our goal was, among others, to encourage the user to let his or her imagination run, and maybe even find a favorite amongst the different characters.

This project was a collaboration with Maria Edvardsen and Armand Bentzen.
