Every typeface has a history behind it and a personality imbued in it. This project's goal was to (figuratively) sell this notion to designers as why this is a good choice for their work. As students we were randomly assigned various typefaces, and I had the pleasure of becoming more acquainted with Giambattista Bodoni's like-named typeface.
        Upon researching the typeface, I came across a note that the eyes like to travel across Bodoni vertically due to how drastic its thick strokes are. This led to the idea of emphasizing the hierarchy around this. I filled Bodoni's B with glyphs of various weights leading down to the hook where the info about the typeface, its pricing, and reseller is located. To assist in this I added pangrams running vertically across the design. The info at the bottom was also organized to align into three sections: the hook and two weights; a paragraph of info, a weight, the pricing, and the reseller; and another paragraph with two more weights. I tried to have the colors have an aged feel, but still be bright and modern as well to match the theme.
