A Tribute to William Caslon

Type Postcards in the style of William Caslon

Caslon was an English Typefounder. The distinction and legibility of his type secured him the patronage of the leading printers of the day in England. His typefaces transformed English type design and established an English national typographic style.

The project objective was to create a card set for display, introducing a typeface, and design it in a modern, interesting way. Cards had to function individually, as well as a part of the set. The card set is created to be sold at a museum store and/or to be collected by design/typography enthusiasts.
