This work was based upon a brief where I was given the symbol of a heart and told to use the symbol to reflect my worldly views. I firstly researched the heart, the main meaning behind of course being love. I deeded to replace negative symbols in famous historical & modern images with the heart to firstly, create juxtaposition, humour and an element of shock to those who would view the pieces but also to show how there is a lack of love in these certain scenarios.
