I chose the Rockwell typeface because of its ubiquitous use throughout the years and its pliable functionality. It was mainly a display face in posters and such because it was great at capturing one's attention. Therefore, the bright primary colors were used for the same purpose. The patterns were created from the type to provide texture on the solid background. I wanted the hierarchy of the type to be the main design aesthetic that supplies movement and flow in the brochure.
