Singles Night Out // Featuring Author Debra Fileta
At Woodlands Church we have the chance to have several special guests through out the year; professional athletes, authors, and other celebrities stop by and share time with the senior pastor. Therefore, we get to create graphic materials for all these events, and Singles Night Out was one of them. This year I had the pleasure to create these pieces for writer Debra Fileta, and the inspiration were vintage elements mixed with contemporary ones. Even though black might be a dominant color in the art, the touches of gold give this project a touch of playfulness and intrigue.
Two Concepts Presented // Black and White Presentation
I like to present my work in black and white first in order to avoid color biases. Even though I work for an in-house team, we still do the usual pitch for the artwork and we explain the inspiration and how our concepts can tap into the minds of the target audience visually. I enjoy this type of projects as they offer a break from my weekly duties as a jack of all trades at Woodlands Church.
