The bubble box was a fun, playful approach to a ‘Travel Light’ student brief. I saw an opportunity to eliminate the unused space from the humble lunchbox, and convert it into a fun, interactive form.
Not only did I reduce thephysical weight of the object, but the space in which it occupies in thealready crowded backpack. The inflatable lunch box acts as your lunch protector,and after lunchtime it flattens down when it’s longer needed.
Getting children involved and interested in their nutrition from a young age creates awareness, and a positive attitude to healthy eating.
