Benefit Concert Moodboard and Comps

The goal of this assignment was to create a website for a Benefit Concert for the protection of sea turtles. The first part of the assignment was to create a moodboard to give an idea of what genre the concert will be, the target audience, the adjectives to describe the look and feel of the website, the color scheme, as well as an initial design concept.

The next task was to create sketches for both the wireframes and the preliminary designs for each page of the website. The wireframes are just to represent where content will be placed as well as the overall layout of the site. The preliminaries go a little further by adding actual design elements to get a better idea of what the product will include once the designing of the comps begin.

The next and (always hopeful) final step before the actual website building and coding begins is to create the comps. These are images of layouts that are created before beginning to prototype the design in HTML (Beaird, 2014). This enables the client to better envision the designers concept.
