Brief: Unique and eclectic textile prints make Ted Baker products inimitable; helping to create an unmistakable identity for the brand. We’re now challenging you to add your own beautifully crafted print designs to the Ted Baker textile portfolio for SS/18.

Rationale: For the 2018 Spring/Summer collection for Ted Baker I have designed two prints for womenswear. For these print designs I have taken inspiration from the ‘Grand Egyptian Museum’ which will open in 2018 and  has very modern stylish architecture. I felt that this was a good source of inspiration as Ted often uses quite old style imagery and gives it a modern and stylish appearance. The objects used in my print designs mostly are pyramid and lotus illustrations. I have used a summery, egyptian inspired, colour scheme for the main print designs and also included two other colour schemes: one black and white, the other a more feminine scheme.
