An image is a visual representation of a reproduction or imitation of form. Images are not strictly two dimensional and can be formed using things like projectors, lenses, or mirrors. Images can incorporate other aspects like light, depth, transparency, etc. An image is a thing that doesn’t necessarily convey the object whose likeness it is meant to portray but more represents that which said object is associated with in society. An images can represent an abstract idea, or convey the feeling of some abstract idea.
