water scarcity illustrations

I produced these images as an interpretation of how water travels to people living in places of extreme water scarcity. Although my initial sketches were intended for an assignment based on water systems, I ultimately finished these illustrations as a personal project because of my own attachment to desert landscapes and preoccupation with sustainable living in the American Southwest.
