As someone who grew up in a kibbutz and spent most of his life walking the kibbutz paths barefoot, i chose to present the foot of one of my friends there, to show his history by reveling it's black dirt, wounded foot in order to show the connection between man and land, where he walks and feel every stone and thorn under his bare feet.
