The College of Advanced Studies - CEA was born to stimulate the development of activities of excellence oriented to the academic, scientific, technological and cultural progress.

The CEA will bring together innovative proposals of interdisciplinary nature and teaching, research and extension projects capable of generating networks of knowledge that promote the exchange between professors, researchers, technicians and students of the Federal University of Ceará and other institutions in Brazil and abroad.

Servulo Esmeraldo was one of the Brazilian artists of greater international projection. His geometric-constructive rigor and creative discipline put his name into the spotlight in the 1950s, and through this international renown, the artist continually strives to promote Brazilian Northeastern art and the artistic renewal of his state.
