Ideology in architecture

Stalinist architecture
I'am interested in how ideologies can bring about different styles in architecture, the west has its weird and wonderful that reaches many levels of aesthetic pleasure for the eye but contrasting to the west, the east has its own style of creating, when the Soviets created, they didn't just create but they started an era of impressiveness that tried to depict the life in a socialist democracy, they were good as if not better than west at times in terms of measures and masculinity.
I sketched these two pieces out of respect and appreciation for architecture that developed from different ideology. Monumental structures are common upon the soviet style of architecture however there are similarity between the east and the west, the difference is that the east went along to develop the gene of classical architecture and it is imbued in their style but the west went astray and thought differently.
