RENOVATION / MANSION IN SANTORINI
The mansion is a traditional Santorinian house which welcomes its guests throughout the year. It is situated inside Imerovigli village next to Merovigla Hotel and is surrounded by unique plants, desert like landscape.
[OBJECTIVE]
The goal was to create multi-functional spaces to reinforce human relations and simultaneously create gathering spaces for all guests of the hotel. In this way the old mansion would represent a modern Agora in which culture and meaningful interaction would occur.
proposal existing situation
The mansion is conceived as part of the hotel, during the high season period - creating a public zone and a meeting area for the guests - while the rest of the year it is conceived as a meeting point for the citizens of the island.
