For this brief I had to create a visual response to a chosen dialogue. 

I chose to use the opening dialouge from Guillermo Del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth.

I wanted to create an interesting piece that would be similar to the experience of reading a fairy tale book. I drew inspiration from artist Ivan Bilibin, who used very organic shapes in his fairy tale illustrations.
