To be asked to create new advertisements that will fit seamlessly into BMW’s Mini Cooper existing advertising campaign is an awesome undertaking. An understanding of two ideas are what gave me the idea to pair the Mini Cooper with IMLS (Institute of Museum and Library Services). First, the Mini attracts trendsetters. Second, individuality and human expression through art and philanthropy are sought after attributes in a brand. It made sense to position Minis in famous works of art to exhibit BMW’s partnership with IMLS and that Minis themselves, are works of art. Gogh Vroom!
