This project celebrates paper, foils and printing techniques. Clients for this project are G.F Smith, Baddeley Brothers and Foilco. My idea was to celebrate the history of paper and the production of papermaking, looking into the processes and how this invention has revolutionised as the demand for paper has increased into mass production. My outcome focuses on the papermaking process, looking at pulp in a playful way through type, engraving texture and using embossing. Foil, to celebrate the luxury of paper and the invention during the time it was created (105 AD).
