Therefor a delivery platform was created which demands the reader's attention. The norms of information architecture is addressed while actively working to evoke an emotional response from the reader or viewer.
The idea regarding what happened on a specific day in time is interpreted by the day Cape Town has been announced World Design Capital for the year 2014. With the specific day in mind the format of the book is cleverly used to illustrate the 26 October 2011 in the middle while adding extra information regarding the process of the outcome on both sides as separate books bounded together by the specific day.
When the typography and layout is considered it is clearly designed from a constructive perspective revealing the importance of the process. The grid is cleverly derived from the World Design Capital logo and extended across the page layout.
