This project required the creation of a campaign encouraging final year design students to enter their work for the ThinkAhead awards scheme. The brief was to consider certain barriers that would discourage students from entering, and to promote the campaign in such a way as to overcome these barriers or insecurities.
My project focused on paper as a medium for creativity and inspiration. Particularly, the notion of unfolding paper creations became a metaphor for a student’s potential unfolding in the corporate world, through opportunities provided by the awards scheme. Thus, the campaign celebrates the idea that all good ideas start
on paper, and students are encouraged enter their ideas to see what unfolds.
