Illustrations for a Finnish alternative band Ampikyy, which in Finnish literally means half-snake, half-bee. The creature design was based on the idea of Verna Svärd, the band's lead singer and songwriter:
"Ampikyy is a very peculiar creature, with scales, wings, a sting and a segmented body, it doesn't sleep nor does it eat, but nonetheless it is dangerous, always ready to attack whatever or whoever comes on its way for a sole reason that it doesn't like to be disturbed. With its staring eyes, sharp teeth and the power to sense the danger on the very long distances, it is impossible to capture it..."
