Higher Edge's mission is to guide low-income and first-generation students through enrollment, retention, and graduation from college by providing the support and resources needed for success.
On November 19th, 2016, Higher Edge celebrated its 5-year anniversary of successfully sending its students to college.
As being one of Higher Edge's first students a recent graduate of the program myself, I was approached to design a display that commemorates all of Higher Edge's goals and accomplishments throughout its five years of existence.
The College Access Program (CAP) is the first step towards putting students on a path to success. Through one-on-one advising, students learn to navigate and conquer the daunting application process.
The Success Program supports Higher Edge students who completed the College Access Program and have enrolled in college. It focuses on academic, financial, and career guidance.
