My lovely friend Amanda invited me to the Washington Nationals game with her and her family last Friday. I was excited because I haven't been to a Nats game in a few years, and double excited because the new head coach of the Washington Capitals, Adam Oates, was throwing out the first pitch. I was even MORE stoked when they told me how close the seats were, and at first I wasn't going to take my camera (I know) but I eventually did and boy was I glad. These are the result of shooting through a few heads in the stands (that kept moving right in my line of vision...grr) but overall I'm really happy with the shots I ended up with. Maybe next time I'll be down with the rest of the photographers!
