I was given a story, and from it had to either create a character design or an environment design. The story I was given went on about these ancient characters with turtle shaped bodies, and basset hound heads that lived at the very top of a set of mountains, who used kites as a form of transportation. Using more developed digital illustration techniques I was able to create my character in a semi-realistic style.
