Cultural Identity Crisis
Graphic identity project, 2016
We have to design an identity for a new kind of cultural destination. It will be a multi-sited brand that aims to broaden the public understanding of both art and design. The venues will place significant emphasis on exploring the boundaries between the disciplines, how frequently they intersect and borrow language from one another.
I choose this brief because I have done an identity project before and I want to challenge myself in branding. I think this project will give a broader development space to my future career. ( not only in graphic design but also think of a way to promote business.)
The venue will be set up in Bristol. It is because I have never been there before and all my friends recommended this place. Also, it has sort of similarities between Bristol and my hometown, Hong Kong. They are both located nearby harbour, and due to their historical background.
