Urban Disintegration
Responding to the word urban, I had to choose another word to go with it and create a set of 4 images to represent the chosen phrase.
Urban Disintegration is a subject with a lot of aspects to explore and analyse. You can see the disrepair and decaying of a building or a neighborhood of a city because citizens neglect those areas and destroy them. You can see those destruction of walls with graffiti, marks and drawings or even in the streets and houses.
There is beauty that can be found in those poor and abandoned areas. As a result I believe it’s worth trying to create something beautiful from those areas even if it is a painting, a design or a photograph. I am interested in exploring the walls of a city that are destroyed. Walls in a city are always deteriorating. Posters are torn off and people write on them. Many things have been written on walls and stuck on them. So in my opinion, there is a history underneath those layers of things that are written on the walls. All those layers of graffiti and marks say something for the person that created them or even the city and the people that live there.
