Battle of the Brains

Battle of the Brains
The Burns & McDonnell Foundation launched an exciting, new initiative to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education in the Kansas City area. It served as a chance for Kansas City area schools to design the next exhibit for Science City and I designed all of the marketing materials to promote the competition which spanned the entire design spectrum: direct mail, HTML emails, posters, giveaways, environmental graphics, billboards ... you name it. The competition was a tremendous success with 560 exhibit entries from over 120 schools. The winning exhibit will be opening at Science City in early 2013.
Invite for press conference announcing the competition which included custom-made cookies.
Environmental graphics inside Science City publicizing the competition as well as a new exhibit called Science on a Sphere.
Inspirational t-shirt for all participating students and teachers.
8' x 10' fabric backdrop to use at teacher conferences.
11" x 17" poster publicizing competition put up at Kansas City-area schools.
Downloadable voting poster for teachers and students to use to promote voting for their exhibit ideas.
40' billboard outside of Science City parking garage.
