Lu Lu Seafood and Dim Sum is an amazing Chinese Restaurant in St. Louis, MO. In this project, the brand called for a few changes that could bring consistency throughout multiple medias.
First, I wanted to create a new logo that engages the current customers. The logo direction must connect the brand ideals with the experience of the restaurant. Therefore, the customers can connect emotionally to the logo.
Moving forward with the idea of "connecting the experience", I wanted to rebrand the website with a proper aesthetic change and layout that resembles the restaurant. My version of the website's layout includes a picture (taken by me) that illustrates the claims of the customer service. It also includes a color palette that is consistent to the restaurant.
The challenge in this project was changing the navigation of the website. In the old website, there were unnecessary pages that could have been placed on the landing page as widgets.
