Nowadays self-representation and promotion are everywhere.
I have experienced in cities across the world increasingly
ego-centric behaviour where many people’s dominant topic
of conversation is themselves. For many people eccentric self-
portraits are an expression of their existence and an exercise
in self-marketing.

This project was approved by my institution and formed part
of my final thesis for the apprenticeship. Over several months
I dedicated myself to the topic of narcissism and self-portrayal
in our society. The culmination of this work was a magazine
with essays and interviews which I wrote myself.
