A small fast project that tries to sum up El Lissitzky's work and school of thought.
We have been asked to design an A3 folding poster starting from a designer and one of his quotes.
El Lissitzky's phrase was: “Creating a book as a body that moves in space and time, as a dynamic bas-relief in which each page is a surface with shapes and each page turn is a path to a new level
of a whole structure”

Therefore the project faced the concept of a book as a three dimensional object. The title TRE-D gives informations about the inside of the folded poster. To better express the Constructivist ideal
of space I decided to cut the sheet to create a square that rises from the structure in the act of turning the page. The central pages contain both the Italian and Russian name and biography
of El Lissitzky. Part of the poster surfaces inside the cut square showing the quotation from which the whole project was born.

The poster uses simple shapes following the Constructivist way of designing space,
with only black lines and letters on a red sheet.
