Produced for the shop Spitalfields Taxidermy based in both Spitalfields Market (Thursdays) and the Tea Rooms Market on Brick Lane (Saturday and Sunday). Specializing in taxidermy, curiosities and vintage goods it provides an eclectic mix for anyone with a curious mind. The aim of the piece was to capture the essence of the place, to do this I made the sign out of an old vintage suitcase as to fit in with the aesthetic of the shop. The typography was designed after studying old Victorian letter forms, posers and signage. I also kept the lettering to one colour so that it doesn’t draw attention away from the products.
