This is a small project I did in my spare time. I was insipred by a lot of vintage/retro style football art I browsed through on Pinterest, and decided to give it a go myself.

I chose the Brazilian Ronaldo as my motive. I have always admired this legendary striker, being a striker myself as a youth player, and growing up to watch him do his magic. One of my greatest moments of Ronaldo was how amazing he was in the 2002 World Cup, where he led Brazil to the victory with his incredibly ugly triangle-haircut. So it was a no-brainer to use a photo from that tournament, with that haircut.
