New Tanah Lot Gastro Deli management briefed a re-branding of their out-dated look and feel to capture a more contemporary classic deli mood, and to reflect their new concept of ‘fresh food made to order’. Tanah Lot gets its name from a nearby temple of the same name. Its previous logo used the shape of the temple’s roof. The client still wanted to retain a visual link to the temple in the new design. 

The new design pays homage to materials and textures found in the temple, like the weathered wood. A self-contained, emblem style logo evokes the nostalgia of casual dining chic. Orange and Pebble Grey offers contrast & gives a modern twist to a classic look, and clearly focuses on the product and service offering. An elegant use of a pencil-sketched fork and spoon alludes to the care and artistry in the food presentation.
