Back in 2008 my mother decided to put my Graphic Designer abilities to work and asked me to create a family X-mas card. As a good daughter, I took the challenge and started brainstorming. However, her main guideline was: NO PICTURE OF ME WHATSOEVER!!! What a girl to do? Creating a family X-mas card with no family is not easy; until I was reminded by my own smart and self-centered dog that SHE was the most important family member—probably with a paw-bitch-slap.
These pictures were taken prior to the creation of the card and she was really tired, indeed. You know, it's not easy to be cute for ages while you owners take glamour shots of you. I used the natural vintage color of the picture to set the tone to the whole design.

pps: Raok, the dog, is in Dog Heaven now. Probably barking at angels. ;)
Raok is starting to get tired… of waiting for so long… to Santa Claus to come. (I wonder!)
