The Walls of Colvastier was a 3 person group thesis project based on my own original concept and a story I had previously written. It is an interactive storybook app designed for children with dyslexia. It is an entertainment based iBook developed to cater to the needs of a child with dyslexia to ensure a enhanced and pleasurable reading experience. It is a multi-sensory piece combining features such as larger text, a narrator to guide the child, imagery and the option to play animations separately are all measures taken to limit distraction. Though the iBook is aimed for those with dyslexia, those without the learning disability may also enjoy the book and story.
