Tranq Chair
Felting, as an ancient craft technique, it has been used for thousands of years. This time, the designer studied felt's character, simply poke felt onto the rubber foam tubes - the structure of the Tranq Chair. Later the chair was done with the wet felting technique - pouring hot soap water onto the felt and rub the felt until it is strengthened - as the finishing. The designer intended to combine the two unrelated materials (one old and one new) together, in order to showing the possiblity of felt.
