A self initiated project completed at university to create a range of food products and packaging to be sold in Waitrose. The focus of the brief was to package products which are commonly found left out on
kitchen surfaces so therefore the function of the packaging needed to be visually appealing
and possibly re-usable.

All the products in the range come in glass jars to be refilled and used again. I created patterned labels with simplistic typography to look sophisticated and so buyers of the products are happy to have them on show in the kitchen.

The product range included herbs and spices, tea, coffee and sugar, pasta and oils. The hang tags for the different products contain information such as usage, ingredients, nutritional information, descriptions of where the products have been sourced and also suggestions of certain products could be used in different dishes.

I expanded the range further into homeware items, applying my patterns to textiles such as tea towels, oven gloves and other items such as mugs.
